Government and Industry Relations

This group is in charge of coordinating NUCA of DC’s advocacy efforts, driving legislative and regulatory changes to the benefit of NUCA members, and working to ensure that local agency specs reflect the realities of current technologies and working environments. This is the place for you to help your company’s voice be heard in the DC City Council, and with local agencies such as DCRA, DDOE, DDOT and DC Water.

Safety and Training Committee

A safe working environment is beneficial to your company and your workforce.  This committee meets monthly for a presentation on a safety topic of interest, to exchange experiences, thoughts and ideas.  Join in a promote safety in your workforce!

Events Committee

NUCA of DC’s networking events are the best!  This committee makes those events happen.  Help plan and execute our Anniversary and Holiday Celebrations, Networking Events, Golf, Clay Shoot and Fishing Challenges, and much more!

Membership and Marketing Committee

This committee welcomes new members, assists with member recruitment and retention. The committee also assists in coordinating and implementing the association’s activities involving marketing and membership, promoting membership growth and the association’s impact on the profession. The committee’s primary focus is to strengthen the association by driving membership and promoting benefits of membership with NUCA of Metro DC.
